The Yamazaki Single Malt Distiller's Reserve Japanese Whisky

A magnificent golden colour with amber highlights. On the nose, subtle notes of strawberry, cherry and mizunara (Japanese oak). On the palate, it is creamy and fruity, with aromas of raspberry, white peach and a touch of coconut. The finish is long and precise, with sweet vanilla and a hint of cinnamon.

The Yamazaki distillery

Shinjiro Torii is the master of Japan's No. 1 single malt. It was he who brought whisky back to Japan, and he himself who exported Japanese whiskies around the world from 1929 onwards. Yamazaki offers a perfect blend of Scottish expertise and Japanese refinement. Produced in mizunara oak casks (the mythical Japanese tree), and in casks that have been used for sherry or Bordeaux wines, this ageless whisky is produced in a distillery built in 1923, located in Shimamoto in Osaka prefecture, Japan. Its water content and humidity make it an ideal environment for production.
