Description

BONNEZEAUX PRESTIGE 2022 from Domaine de TERREBRUNE, a sweet white wine from the Loire. It has a lovely golden colour with green highlights, suggesting liveliness combined with sweetness. The nose is subtle and evokes floral and fruity notes. The palate confirms these impressions with notes of acacia flowers, dried fruit, citrus fruit and a hint of honey. This sweet Loire wine is the ideal companion for Foie Gras, as well as being a perfect accompaniment to blue-veined cheeses and fruit desserts.
This sweet white wine is made from Chenin grapes, which naturally give it plenty of liveliness, enabling it to strike the perfect balance between freshness and sweetness.

As with Sauternes and the great sweet wines of the south-west, the grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe, by selective sorting of berries with juice concentrated by the famous noble rot caused by the Botritys Cinerea fungus.
