Description

Domaine Marcel DEISS GRASSBERG 2018, this semi-dry Grand Vin d'Alsace comes from "GRASBERG", a vineyard located at an altitude of 340 m facing North-East at the top of the Grand Cru "Altenberg de Bergheim". This relatively poor and very mineral terroir causes the vines to take root deeper underground.

This wine is made from the Riesling, Pinots and Gewurztraminer grape varieties which coexist in plantations. 

When tasting, this white wine is immediately very mineral and fruity. The nose is fruity, the notes of exotic fruits and candied lemon stand out with also a hint of fresh mint. The palate is lively, the citrus notes are confirmed with an impression of fullness, minerality and balance. The finish is soft and at the same time lively. High class ...
