Description
This SCHOFFWEG white wine from Domaine Marcel DEISS is a lovely white wine produced using organic methods. This beautiful terroir, Schoffweg, is part of the Altenberg de Bergheim. On tasting, this very fine Alsace white wine reveals generous, gourmet aromas. The scent is of vanilla, wood and cocoa, which is confirmed on the palate by its fullness and fatness. The finish is vanilla and quite tannic. The vines are a combination of Riesling and Pinots, with a few Muscat and Chasselas vines here and there.
