Description

The Magnum of Saumur Champigny BIO LE CLOS MARCONNET by Domaine des FROGERES is a beautiful organic red wine from the Loire region. You'll appreciate its deep garnet color. The nose of this wine is enchanting, evoking a basket of ripe black fruits and a bouquet of white flowers.

 

The palate is round and generous, showcasing the best of Cabernet Franc when nurtured on magnificent terroirs by masters of the craft. Michel Joseph, who founded the estate in 1980 and converted it to organic farming in 1998, passed the torch to his nephews François Xavier and Valentin in 2015. The estate is in good hands. A truly outstanding wine at a very reasonable price... And it comes in a magnum! Double thanks for that!
