N°2 Château Alta Gaïa Bordeaux Red
N°2 Château Alta Gaïa is the estate's second wine. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, this garnet-red 2018 is a fine composition. The wine stands out for its perfect blend of fresh red fruit and discreet oak, enriched by spicy notes. Expressive and velvety on the palate, with lovely silky tannins and a long, roasted finish with hints of black fruit.
The history of the Alta Gaïa estate
Château Alta Gaïa is a family-run wine estate comprising 30 hectares of vines. The property is located in the north of the Entre-deux-mers region in the communes of Ruch, Bossugan and Saint Pey de Castets. Didier MALLEMANCHE has been in charge of the vineyard since 2003. In December 2015, he and his wife Christine took over the business, and in 2019 their children Loïc and Estelle will also be working on the estate.
