Description
This parcel cuvée stems from the selection of an exceptional terroir spanning 5.5 hectares, situated at the top of a hillside near the village of Castellet. The vines of this terroir, bathed in sunlight and swept by the wind, allow the Mourvèdre grape to fully flourish. The resulting wines are characterized by their tannic power and fruity flavors, with a proportion ranging between 70 and 80% Mourvèdre depending on the years. Often exposed to the Mistral winds, La Tourtine benefits from optimal exposure, giving rise to a long-lasting wine that consistently preserves its aromas of small red fruits and spices, even after aging for 10 to 15 years.
