Premier Grand Cru Classé A Château Angélus

Château Angelus has been located in the famous Saint Emilion appellation in the Bordeaux region since 1782. The name Château Angelus comes from the 3 medieval churches located around the estate. Every day the bells ring the Angelus at 6am, 12pm and 6pm.

It was in 1954 that this estate became a Bordeaux premier cru classé.

Now in its 8th generation, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivaol represents Château Angélus, which today covers 39 hectares of vines.

Château Angelus 2019

This Saint Emilion 1er cru classé A is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This 2019 vintage is symbolic for the estate, as it is the first to be awarded the organic farming label.
