Description

This Magnum of DOURO vintage 2019 red wine is a Portuguese wine from Quinta do Crasto.

It has a dark colour, the aromas are very intense and you can imagine the effect of the sun's power on the vines, despite the average altitude of 600 m in the vineyards of Quinta do Crasto.

At first, floral notes emerge, followed by notes of black fruit. On the palate, the tannic texture is present but fairly supple. The black fruit notes are confirmed by a long finish.

Douro wines are the foundation of Port wines, and it's natural to find the same grape varieties as Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. Quinta do Crasto harvests its plots by hand and takes the grapes to the press in crates. The grapes brought to the press are of the highest quality.
