Description
ESPRIT de PAVIE 2017 Bordeaux Rouge is not strictly speaking a second wine from Château Pavie, however Gérard PERSE de Pavie puts his touch and offers a very beautiful red Bordeaux always offered at full maturity. You will love its beautiful purple color, the nose is intense, the red fruits and very ripe black fruits occupy the space then reveal notes of spices and cocoa. The palate is supple and round, the tannins are very present, fruity notes and a slight hint of smoke due to good aging in wood reinforce all these tasting impressions.
From one vintage to another the proportions of grape varieties vary around 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
