Description
Whiskey Gouden CAROLUS BLAASVELD BROEK. Lightly peated Belgian single malt. You should know that peat used as fuel for heating homes and for drying barley malt was extracted from the Het Broek estate not far from the De Molenberg distillery in Blaasveld.
This version of Gouden Carolus Blaasveld Broek whiskey is distilled from a mash to which peated barley malt is added. It is then aged for 30 months in ex-bourbon barrels then 6 months in ex-Het Anker barrels.
The resulting single whiskey is slightly smoky and slightly peaty, with the signature notes of wood and vanilla that we find in the non-peated version of this Belgian Single malt Whiskey.
