Its history and production

The hexagonal shape of the bottle of this single malt is a direct reference to the Giant's Causeway, which inspires the legends and myths of Northern Ireland. It is made exclusively from Irish malted barley and triple distilled in copper stills. It is then aged in oak casks containing Xeres for 4 years.

How to enjoy this spirit?

Drink it neat or with an ice cube, according to your tastes! Its mahogany colour makes it a gentle elixir above all. Ideal for novices, it's easy to enjoy. On the nose, you'll find walnuts and other dried fruits as well as hints of spices. On the palate, it's the woody side with soft notes of honey and hazelnut that comes through. The Sexton is perfect for cocktails, and why not add a little ginger?
