Description
Whisky Cardhu Amber Rock Single Malt Double Maturation
On the nose, this whisky has many notes such as lychee, pear, apple, citrus, vanilla and clove. On the palate, it's very fruity, spicy and sweet, finishing on a note of toasted oak. The finish is long and smooth.
The Cardhu family distillery
In 1811, the Cumming family moved to Cardhu farm near the River Spey and decided to start production. Helen Cumming soon developed the recipes for the round, classy single malts that set them apart from North Scotch whiskies. Their production was so successful that their style became a local classic. The nickname soon came to separate the neighbouring Highlands, so Speyside was born!
