Benriach Distillery Whisky

The Benriach distillery opened its doors in 1898 before closing shortly after due to financial problems. It was more than 65 years later that the distillery reopened in 1965 after a takeover. The distillery changed ownership again in 1977, when it was bought by the Seagram group. The first Benriach 10 Year Old whisky only came out of this distillery in 1994. The distillery changed ownership for the last time in 2002 before undergoing renovations and reopening definitively in 2004. The Benriach distillery in Speyside, Scotland, now produces 2,800,000 litres of whisky a year, with over forty different versions released.

Benriach Original 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

This single malt from the Benriach distillery has been aged for 10 years in new oak, bourbon and sherry casks before being blended into 1 whisky. This particular ageing process produces honeyed, woody, malty and fruity aromas with great complexity. The finish is generous with vanilla and almond flavours.
