Founded in 1812 by Henri-Aimé Vrignaud in Luçon in the Vendée. Once upon a time, Luçon was a port where ships and trade floated. Fruit, plants and spices from all over the world were often unloaded. Ideal for a distiller! At the end of the 19th century, the Vrignaud distillery was busy. It made a name for itself thanks to its expertise in the region and around the world, winning 2 gold medals at the Paris Universal Exhibitions in 1889 and 1900. Vrignaud places great emphasis not only on the quality of its products, but also on the use of traditional, ancestral production methods. The ageing cellar allows the recipes to mature perfectly.

Liqueur des Chouans from Distillerie Vrignaud

Made with a base of alcohol, sugar, cognac, orange infusion, flavourings and caramel. A fine blend with subtleties of cognac and infusions of orange peel. A good bitter orange digestif, with a taste measured out to perfection. It is smooth and pleasantly long on the palate. Can be served as a digestif or cocktail. Can also be used in pastries.
