The history of Squadron
Named after the most fearsome Royal Air Force squadron of the Second World War, Squadron 303. Made up of Polish and British pilots, they introduced each other to their favourite spirits. The Poles introduced their allies to vodka and the English to English, Scotch and Irish whiskies. Also known as the Blend of Freedom, this whisky was served in the pubs of Edinburgh in Scotland, frequented by the pilots of Squadron 303.
Tasting Squadron 303 Vodka Finit en Fût de Calvados D-Day
On the nose, this vodka is very sweet and smooth, with hints of cocoa. The palate is very smooth, with flavours of butter-roasted apples and floral notes. The finish is long, with good apple and almond flavours that melt in the mouth.
