The House of Delord Vieil Armagnac Since 1893
The House of Delord was founded in 1893 by the cellar master of the time, who decided to transform his white wine into Armagnac using copper stills. It was not until 1932 that the real story of Delord Armagnacs began, when Gaston and Georges decided to export their Armagnacs to the United States. Today, the range of armagnacs has grown over the years, as has the surface area of the Delord vineyard, with over 75 hectares of vines, mostly organically grown. The winery has over 1,000 maturing casks and a dozen oak tuns.
