Description
Orca "Vieilles Vignes" Ventoux Red Wine by Marrenon
The nose is ripe with aromas of light tobacco, morello cherry, red fruit and a few spices. On the palate, the wine is richly fruity with hints of ripe fruit, amplified by aromas of fresh berry liqueur such as blackcurrant and raspberry. The wood tannins are degraded and accompany the wine on the palate. The finish is very long, fresh and complex. The grape variety is 90% Grenache over 60 years old, with 10% Syrah.
Orca, a wine from Domaine Marrenon
In 1966, a certain Pétula Garcia, a wealthy Brazilian, inherited a forest house called Marrenon in the heart of the Luberon massif. She fell under the spell of the magnificent scenery, decided to settle there and invited her friends from all over the world to discover this corner of Provence. MARRENON is more than 40 years of human adventure, with 1,200 winegrowers united in cooperatives and now working a vineyard of 7,600 hectares in the Luberon and Ventoux.
