Description
The emblem of UBY is the turtle, which symbolises a strong commitment to the environment. UBY is the name of a stream that runs through the estate and the UBY pond, a very unspoilt place where Europe's last Cistude tortoises live and breed. The wines are a testament to the art of living and conviviality at all times. Affordable and easy to drink, to be enjoyed young, they skilfully combine freshness, roundness and delicious fruity notes.
This wine is a lovely red colour, both fruity and round. It comes from the south-west of France (IGP Côtes de Gascogne), from the great Uby estate, with a blend of Tannat and Merlot grapes. On the palate, the tannins are supple and well-coated, with a lovely freshness. It goes very well with red meat, poultry and cheese.
