This Taiwanese whisky, KAVALAN King Car, is a blend of whiskies aged in different types of casks (ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-wine casks). This variety of wood imparts a lot of complexity to this whisky.
On the palate, it brings forth flavors of exotic fruits, banana, coconut, papaya, as well as green apple and floral notes. The palate is characterized by a gentle sweetness, with the exotic fruit notes confirming, especially banana and coconut. The finish is slightly bitter and lively.
