SUZE Gentian roots Aperitif
Suze Classic French Aperitif Liqueur Gentiane Roots based
Description
Origin of Suze Liqueur
The Suze aperitif was created by Fernand Moureaux in 1889, inspired by the medicinal properties of gentian. This bitter plant is so characteristic of the Alps. This French liqueur, appreciated for its bitterness, is called Suze in honour of the creator's sister, Suzanne.
How is Suze made?
The process begins with the harvesting of the gentian, which is then macerated and distilled to extract as much flavour as possible. It can then be blended with other plants.
Tasting suze: the nose is vegetal, with floral and bitter aromas. The attack on the palate is frank, with sweet and bitter notes. The finish is round, pleasant and long.
Enjoy suze liqueur with cocktails, ice cream or as an aperitif.
