This 10 year old SPRINGBANK Whiskey was aged in PALO CORTADO Sherry barrels, this version of Springbank is part of a series of 5 agings in 5 different types of Sherry barrels on the Campbeltown peninsula. This version is the fruit of 6 years in Bourbon barrels then 4 years in Palo Cortado Sherry barrels. The peat is slightly present, the rancidity of the Sherry barrels is very present with a slight sweetness in the finish, it is a delight...
Only 10,200 collars were produced in this version.
