SPRINGBANK LOCAL BARLEY 11 year old Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky a very rare Single Malt. Springbank used barley grown locally, less than 4 km from the distillery, at Glencraigs Farm. This 11-year-old version has been aged in Sherry, Bourbon and Rum casks. It is this latter ageing that gives this version its undeniable extra character.
This Springbank Local Barley 11-year-old whisky has a nose marked by exotic fruits, citrus fruits and then hints of smoke. On the palate, there are also fine marine and mineral notes, followed by notes of peat.
