This SMOKEHEAD REBEL RUM CASK Islay Single Malt Whiskey is a whiskey from the Island of Islay finished in Caribbean rum casks. It is part of the series offered by Ian Macleod distillers, of Islay whiskeys aged in different barrels. the previous version was the Sherry Bomb.
The nose balances between smoky sensations and fruity and sweet sensations like lemon and pineapple.
The palate offers peaty notes, medicinal notes, bacon, caramel, pineapple, caramelized bananas, citrus and tropical fruits. So a nice combination a combination of salty and sweet flavors.
