Description
Rum SEASON XO 70cl blend of rum from Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad selected by Jérôme TESSENDIER, a big name among the cellar masters of the Cognac region.
These rums will age for 10 years in their original terroirs in white American oak barrels before reaching the banks of the Charentes in the Cognacs region. Mr Tessendier will seek a balance between several characteristics of these 3 origins of rums, such as power and finesse of aromas of fruits, spices and flowers.
The blend thus decided by Mr Tessendier is then left to age for 9 months in old Cognac barrels in cellars along the Charente.
This last step gives this delicious rum a light patina reminiscent of Cognac.
The nose offers beautiful flavors of vanilla, notes of toasted bread, cedar wood as well as blond tobacco.
The palate confirms the vanilla notes and notes of flambéed banana appear.
A very great rum!!
