Description
Whiskey CROFTENGEA 2006-2022 16 years 50°, by Thompson Brothers, it is the blend of two malts from two different types of Hogshead barrels (De-charred and Re-Charred), 479 bottles were produced.
A smoked highland malt that could be confused with an Islay.
The nose is smoky and peaty, then vegetal and fruity notes appear. The palate is woody and smoky, with fruity notes of orange and apricots asserting themselves over time. The finish is quite oily and marked by smoke.
