Description
GLENFIDDICH 29 Year Old Grand YOZAKURA Whisky, a new addition to the Grand Series collection. This single malt is the perfect blend of the best that Japan and Scotland have to offer. After 29 years in American and European oak casks, this single malt has spent the last six months in Awamori casks, a spirit originally from Okinawa. The nose has notes of ripe fruit, caramelised nuts and spices. The palate is marked by notes of toasted wood, caramel and sweet spices, including vanilla. Spices and notes of apple and citrus follow. The finish is extremely long and woody.
Recognisable by the triangular shape of its bottle. This Speyside distillery was not only the first to market its own single malt in 1963, it was also the first to open its doors to tourist visitors.
