Hunter Laing SCARABUS Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. The name of this Scarabus whiskey refers to a point on the island of Islay known since the 13th century, the meaning of this word is "the rocky place". This whiskey is clearly peated and smoked with a particular aging which brings sweetness and richness. The nose expresses smoke, Islay peat and salty notes of the ocean. On the palate we are immediately seduced by the richness and breadth of the notes of leather, fruit, vanilla and peat. The finish is long, and suggests notes of salted butter caramel.
Single malt bottled at its natural color and not cold filtered.
