Description

GLENALLACHIE 21 Year Old Batch 3 Cask Whisky from Pedro Ximenez, this Speyside distillery is renowned for the quality of its cask stock. The cellar master chose the casks from a stock of 50,000. 

This Speyside single malt is a beautiful, intense mahogany colour. The nose offers notes of sultanas, mocha, candied orange and cocoa.

On the palate, the Glenallachie signature notes are honey and heather. This is followed by notes of cocoa, mocha and sultana. The finish is woody and slightly peppery.

Bursts of heather honey, truffles dusted with cocoa and sultanas, followed by bursts of espresso coffee, mixed currants and brandy butter, with nuggets of ginger on the finish.

A great single malt whisky in a superb presentation box.
