Description
This French distillery is located on the island of Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe. The Poisson distillery has been producing traditional agricultural rums since the early 20th century. The agricultural rums produced are made from freshly harvested sugar cane and not from molasses to obtain the agricultural rum label.
This white agricultural rum is produced in France in the emblematic rum region of the Caribbean. The best sugar cane in the production is pressed and distilled on a parcel-by-parcel basis. These sugar canes are cut by hand before being pressed and distilled in copper Creole columns. This special cuvée reveals aromas of vanilla, exotic fruits such as passion fruit and mango with great length.
