To begin with, this whisky has a very amber colour. On the nose, the first notes are of fruit (lychee, pear, syrup, apple, sweet mandarin), accompanied by honey, vanilla, cloves and a malty caramel. On the palate, the fruity side comes out first, followed by a delightful taste of toasted oak, marshmallow, creamy milk chocolate and vanilla. The ideal food and wine pairing is as an aperitif and digestive.

The Cardhu Distillery

At the beginning of its history, Cardhu was produced clandestinely. Over the centuries, the distillery created a legend and a name for itself. It existed thanks to the Cumming family, who lived high up on Mannoch Hill. Creating whiskies known for their roundness, fruitiness and mellowness. This style has been copied many times over, as its origins lie in Speyside. Since then, the great distillers have passed on this unique and authentic know-how to transform barley from the Speyside terroir into premium whisky that any consumer can't resist.
