The Mulberry Aged Gin from the urban distillery MAKAR undergoes a 10-week maturation period in small 50-liter casks made from "Mulberry Wood," which is mulberry tree wood. This process results in a gin that's smooth, creamy, and subtly woody.
The botanicals used to craft this gin remain consistent, including rosemary, coriander seeds, licorice, lemon zest, angelica roots, quassia bark, and black pepper. However, it's important to note that the mulberry wood imparts an additional layer of complexity and flavor to the gin, contributing to its unique character.
