Description

Spirited Union Queen Pineapple & Spice is a Panamanian rum base in which cloves and Queen Victoria pineapples are macerated to which a cinnamon distillate is added. These pineapples are much smaller than average (not much bigger than a large lemon), but are simply delicious.

This collection of botanical rums was launched in 2019. Spirited Union is a distillery but also a cocktail bar in Amsterdam.  This project meets all current standards. Ruben Maduro chose to produce his electricity from photovoltaic panels and build an eco-responsible building. This category of botanical rums are not strictly speaking flavored rums or arranged rums. The technique used is more reminiscent of the manufacture of dgins. Rum is the alcohol base, which is then improved by maceration of botanicals, by natural distillates but above all without adding sugar... then sometimes re-distilled.
