Whisky MORTLACH Special Release 2023 the Katana's Edge. This 2023 release respects the Mortlach codes, i.e. a single malt combining sweet and savoury notes. The added value of this Special Release 2023 lies in the combination of the finish in ex-white oak casks of Kanosuke Japanese whisky and ex-pinot noir casks. On the nose, you'll love its sweet, fruity aspects, followed by spicy notes and hints of leather. The palate is lively and fruity, with a hint of sweetness and saltiness. The finish is long, spicy and fruity.
