Le Pertuis Pure Malt French Whisky

Its colour is amber yellow. On the nose, there are fruity notes with grain aromas. On the palate, Pertuis Whisky Français Pure Malt can bewitch you with its floral and fruity aromas. The finish is smoky. This spirit is distilled and aged in Scotland for 5 years. The rest takes place in bourbon barrels, oak casks, but also pineau des Charentes and Cognac, for several months in the cellar of the House located on the Ile de Ré.

Created in 1996 by Mr Baumgartner, a brewer originally from Austria, who settled on this island out of love for this piece of land. Passionate about what he loves, Baumgartner uses his own yeast to make the first white beer on the Île de Ré. The Bertrand family bought the facilities in 2001, having been winegrowers and distillers in Charente-Maritime since the mid-19th century. Today, Bière de Ré boasts state-of-the-art production equipment and a team of 2 top-quality brewers, all of whom are committed to maintaining the traditional aspect and the original recipe.
