The Moulin du Château la Lagune red wine is the second wine of Château la Lagune, the estate covers an area of 80 ha in the Bordeaux region, more precisely in the Haut Médoc.
Description
Le Moulin de la Lagune is the second wine produced by Château la Lagune in the famous Bordeaux appellation of Haut-Médoc. This 2015 vintage red wine is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The terroir of the Haut-Médoc appellation is made up of rock and flint. The grapes produced in Bordeaux in 2015 benefited from ideal weather conditions, with plenty of heat and sunshine. The Moulin de la Lagune was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, with 40% new barrels renewed each year.
The Moulin de la Lagune has beautiful intense red fruit notes with silky tannins, woody notes and spicy notes on the finish. Enjoy this Haut Médoc red wine with red meats, cheese platters or lamb.
