Château Talbot is a benchmark in the world of Bordeaux wine. Located in the Saint-Julien appellation, the estate covers 110 hectares of 45-year-old vines. The Cuvée Connétable de Talbot was created in the 1960s and is the second wine of Château Tablot, classified as the 4th Grand Cru of Bordeaux.

Connétable de Talbot red wine

Connétable de Talbot is the second wine of Château Talbot, made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (37%) and Merlot (63%) with a slight touch of Petit Verdot. After vinification, Connétable de Talbot is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, with 15% new barrels each year. On the nose, you'll smell intense red fruit, but also tobacco and cedar. On the palate, the red fruit comes through with refined tannins, roundness and a long finish.
