Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil Red a Loire Wine
This fine wine is supple and fruity, with a beautiful ruby red colour. The Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil Rouge is the ideal accompaniment for veal, cold buffets and poultry. Ideal serving temperature: 12° to 16°C.
Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil a Domaine de Plessis wine
On the right-hand side of the Loire, facing due south, the area is protected from the northerly winds by forest. The gravel soils drain the water, except to the north where we find the tufa slopes, to make a long story short the varieties of different soils and microclimates that the vineyard is lucky enough to have; the wine owes both its character and its diversity to this. Cabernet Franc is the vineyard's exclusive grape variety. This variety produces aromatic wines with hints of raspberry and violet, with a height and structure that allow them to evolve in the cellar for more than a decade.
