Description

Château MOULIN de la ROSE Saint-JULIEN 2020. Where the castle is built, a mill stood in the 18th Century. This is why Château MOULIN de la ROSE is named like this.

This castle, less known than its illustrious neighbors, is nevertheless ideally located, its 5.15 hectares are set in the middle of the Grands Crus Classés of the Saint-Julien appellation.

The manual harvest gives rise to an initial, very selective sorting in the vineyard. Vinification takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel vats for approximately 3 weeks before aging in barrels, 30% of which are new barrels. 

The color is a beautiful deep garnet red. The nose offers us beautiful notes of very ripe black fruits, notes of violet and liquorice.

The palate is quite tannic, mineral and the notes of black fruits are confirmed.

A very beautiful wine with a fairly unequaled pleasure-price ratio.
