This red St Joseph les Challeys from Maison Delas is a brilliant ruby colour. The nose of this Saint Joseph is marked by fruity notes (raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrant) and woody aromas, as 30% of the cuvée is aged in wood. The aromas perceived on the nose come through on the palate, with a marked tannic structure and a full-bodied finish marked by spices and liquorice.
