This 7-hectare estate, with its vines averaging 30 years in age, is at full strength.
Long owned by the De Ségur family, noblesse d'épée from Bordeaux, the estate has been owned by Guy Delon since 1985, when he undertook the construction of new cellars and vats.
Château Ségur de Cabanac is made up of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. The wine is vinified in stainless steel vats and then matured for 20 months in barrels, 30% of which are new.
The nose of this very classic Saint Estèphe offers precise notes of ripe black fruit, flowers and spices.
The palate is caressing with a fresh hint of eucalyptus. The palate is round, greedy and woody, but just right.
