This 7 hectare estate covered with vines 30 years old on average gives its full power.
This estate has long been owned by the De Ségur family, Bordeaux nobles. Since 1985 it has entered the fold of the properties of Guy Delon who undertook the construction of new cellars and vat rooms.
Château Ségur de Cabanac is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, then the wines are aged for 20 months in barrels, 30% of which are new.
This very classically crafted Saint Estèphe offers precise notes of ripe black fruits, flowers and spices on the nose.
The mouth is caressing with a fresh hint of eucalyptus. A round mouthfeel, delicious and woody but just what is needed.
