Description

This prestigious castle produces a splendid vintage.

The Canon-la-Gaffelière vineyard is located on the south coast of Saint-Emilion, boasting excellent exposure. The old vines, around 50 years old, grow in soils of clay-limestone and clay-sandy type, which create a complex and exceptional terroir. From this terroir and Stephan Von Neipperg's expertise, a wine of remarkable structure is crafted – always elegant and refined, with a beautiful length on the palate.

The wine is aged for 16 months in barrels, 50% of which are new.

The intense aromas of blackcurrant, cooked blueberry, and rose petal blend with the gentle spices of wood and the terroir's mineral character. Its uniqueness provides remarkable sensations.
