Sugar cane is the main crop in Mauritius, and one of the main sources of wealth along with tourism. Emperor lily White is the result of several blends of molasses and agricultural rums. Some are aged for up to 12 years in French and American oak casks. This White Rum will stand out from the rest when it comes to filtration! It is filtered through charcoal, which removes the amber colour and produces Lily White, a white rum that can be repeated up to 7 times. Before filtration, this cuvée is none other than the Emperor Héritage Rhum Ambré!
As well as making Emperor White Rum Lily White clear, this process refines the aromatic and olfactory notes, making it very delicate.
How to enjoy this white rum from Mauritius?
This crystalline elixir releases very floral scents, as well as coffee and vanilla. The palate is dominated by exotic fruits and spices. Then a touch of honey for the finish.
