Baie des Trésors Distillery Agricultural Rum, Fruits des Pluies

Baie des Trésors is owned by the Galion Farm (Martinique's leading cane producer). It is exposed to the rains, which makes the cane juicy. The combination of this juicy cane and around 13 months' ageing in French oak barrels produces a smooth, noble and rounded rum. When tasted, the rum reveals aromas of vanilla, candied fruit, apple, tannin and tobacco.

On the nose, this rum is complex, with a hint of wood and smoky vanilla. It reveals candied fruit, dried fruit and flowers. A hint of light tobacco is followed by marshmallow, which becomes apparent on aeration. On the palate, the assault is gentle. It has pronounced tannins. Aromas of dried fruit and candied citrus mingle with light tobacco. The final note is fresh.
