This beautiful amber rum is a blend of traditional rums from Barbados and Guyana. What makes it so special is the ageing process. The 5+5 in its name is explained by the fact that it spends 5 years in casks under Caribbean skies, before finishing its ageing for a further 5 years in Spain. First, 3 years in ex-Palo Cortado Sherry casks, then a further 2 years in ex-Pedro Ximénez casks.
