Description

The Maison Trimbach Riesling Réserve 2022 embodies all the elegance and finesse of a great Alsace wine house that keeps its traditions very much alive.

This Riesling Réserve 2022 is almost a masterpiece from Maison Trimbach, at a very reasonable price. This cuvée from Maison Trimbach is quite emblematic of the finesse and elegance of Alsace wines and of Maison Trimbach in particular.

It has a lovely pale yellow colour with green highlights, and a delicate nose with notes of white flowers, peach and citrus fruit. The mineral structure that is characteristic of Riesling is clearly present. On the palate, the attack is frank and lively, with fine acidity that carries through to a long, lingering finish. Flavours of citrus and white-fleshed fruit dominate, underpinned by the elegant minerality that is the hallmark of great Rieslings.

This Riesling goes very well with seafood and fish, as well as white meats and goat's cheese.
