Description
Rhum JM Jardin Fruité 70 cl Rhum Agricole. This rum has spent 24 months in French and American oak casks. The toasting of these different casks varies in order to create a variety of aromas during the ageing process.
JM's l'Atelier des Rhums series shows that toasting a cask allows different aromas to develop, depending on the toasting technique and time. This version focuses on fruit notes.
On tasting, JM Jardin Fruité rum has a nose of exotic fruits such as pineapple and banana. Then notes of vanilla, citrus, honey and nutmeg appear. On the palate, the spicy notes take over a little before giving way to notes of flambéed fruit, including flambéed banana. The finish takes us on to citrus notes, then warm vanilla notes, a little like custard.
