Maison Louis Chèze des Côtes du Rhône

Maison Louis Chèze is a family estate taken over in 1978 by Mr Louis Chèze in the Côtes du Rhône. In the early days, the estate covered just 1 hectare in the Saint Joseph appellation. Little by little, Maison Louis Chèse expanded by buying up vines in the Condrieux and Saint Joseph appellations, and now has 35 hectares of vines in the Côtes du Rhône. Louis Chèse is all about quality wines, with many different cuvées depending on the vintage.

Cuvée Syrahvissante by Louis Chèse

The Syrahvissante cuvée was born in 1984 and is produced on the granite soils of the Louis Chèse wine estate. This cuvée contains 100% Syrah, hence the name "Syrahvissante". The wine is matured in oak barrels for 6 months and also in stainless steel vats before bottling. Syrahvissante from Louis Chèse has an attractive red colour with intense tints and aromas of violets and pepper. On the palate, this Côtes du Rhône wine is fruity with character and a lovely roundness. You can enjoy this delicious wine from this emblematic wine house with red meats, grilled meats or lightly spiced dishes.
