RAMOS PINTO ADRIANO Red Reserva Port. A visit to the winery at Villa Nova de Gaia tells us that Adriano Ramos Pinto conquered the Brazilian market with this Port, to the extent that in Brazilian a Port is called ‘an Adriano’. A brand then becomes a common name (like the fridge and the refrigerator).
This very fine Adriano Port is a blend of Ports at least 6 years old. The nose reveals notes of mocha coffee, dried fruit and prunes in brandy. The palate is well balanced between freshness and sweetness, evoking candied fruit, dried fruit, caramel and mocha coffee.
A delicious accompaniment to foie gras, blue-veined cheese or a chocolate or caramel dessert.
